Azimuth Thruster Electronic Controls
The azimuth propeller (Z type), is a versatile propeller. Its capability in terms of full 360 degree rotation of the pod there by facilitating rapid change in thrust direction and in turn vessel direction makes it more popular. As we are very closely associated with repairing of different types of propeller systems (CPP, Azimuth, bow thruster and various steering gear), we learned there was a need to develop controls for the same in-house indigenously. In our dedicated efforts to continuously improvise and develop controls and system indigenously, our R&D engineers have successfully developed the Azimuth Electronic Controls AIAZ 100 and Azimuth Sensors AIAZS 100. The same system has been commissioned on a vessel which was originally fitted with SCHOTTEL azimuth control.
From our past twenty year experience in various marine controls, it is observed that most of the mechanical gear boxes / assembly remain in working condition for years together, but electronic controls often give trouble after eight to ten years. Most of the time OEM agents recommend the complete replacement of the system at an exorbitant price with longer lead time. That is where ACSPL can come in to replace only the control component thus optimizing time and cost. Basically our attempt is to help the Indian ship owners to give cost effective, economical solution with minimum down time. Most importantly we give one year offsite warranty for our products as mentioned in our offer letter.

APPLICATION
We have developed in house capabilities to provide complete solutions to the customer right from system design to building the system and its final commissioning. Most of the products which we have developed are equivalent to replace obsolete spares. Availability of required spares brings the vessels down time to minimum with minimum repair charge. This is advantageous because in absence of required spares.
Major replacement of old system with new system leads to extra down time and money.
